Former Norris High School teacher gets 90 days in jail for sexually abusing student
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A former Norris High School teacher was sentenced Friday for sexually abusing a student.
Lillie Bowman, 24, got 90 days in jail and five years of probation for third-degree sexual abuse by a school employee, according to court records.
She is also required to register as a sex offender.
Bowman was initially charged with first-degree sexual abuse by a school employee. But that charge was amended after she entered a plea deal.

On May 19, Bowman was arrested after “concerned parents” led deputies to investigate a relationship between her and a male student.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said Bowman began a relationship with the student in March of last year.
In an arrest affidavit, authorities alleged that she sexually abused the student about 10 times.
