Former taco shop employee reportedly steals $10K to pay drug debt

A former taco shop employee reportedly stole more than $10 thousand from his employer to pay a drug debt. 

Records show Austin Booher, 26, of Lincoln, was lodged in Lancaster County Jail Thursday on felony theft charges. 

Booher, a former employee at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, changed the restaurants Door Dash (food delivery app) account to deposit funds into his personal account, totaling $10,731, according to an arrest affidavit. 

Booher told investigators and his boss he used the money for drugs and to pay a debt to his drug dealer, according to the affidavit.
