Four dead after vehicle crashes into tree in Grand Island

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Four people were killed Sunday morning in a crash with a tree in Grand Island.
The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. at South Locust Street and Stagecoach Road.
Police said a vehicle was heading north “at a high rate of speed” when it crossed the center line and crashed into a tree.
One of the occupants was ejected from the vehicle. The other three were trapped inside, according to police.
All four were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified the victims as Daniel White Face, 23; Atreya Thorsen, 19; Juan Ramos, 22; and Alexander Ramos American Horse, 18.
S. Locust St is closed between Stolley Park Rd and Hwy 34 due to a single vehicle fatal accident. Avoid the area for the next several hours.
