Four girls arrested in assault of mother, daughter in Omaha, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Four girls have been accused of assaulting a woman and her daughter earlier this month, Omaha Police say.
On April 3 around 7:30 p.m., officers were sent to an area near 23rd and J Streets on a report of an assault.
A victim told officers that she and her daughter had been attacked by four unknown females, police say.
Eventually, officers with the department’s assault unit found a video of the attack, which had been posted on social media.
Officers were then able to identify and locate the girls, who were arrested Tuesday, according to police.
Police say investigators are working with the Douglas County juvenile county attorney in the investigation.
