Frigid Start, Cold and Breezy Sunday Afternoon
We saw a good amount of sunshine on Saturday and that helped with the colder temperatures! This evening will feel a bit colder as temperatures drop to the teens, with bitter wind chills possible by Sunday morning.
Dry through the weekend, though StormCast is showing a couple of chilly mornings ahead in southeast Nebraska.
Low temperatures tonight will drop to the single digits and lower teens. Winds will pick up through the overnight hours.
Frigid wind chills will be possible for any early Sunday morning plans.
Mostly clear skies tonight after a few passing clouds early in the evening for Lincoln. Expect frigid temperatures tonight, with our low in the single digits.
We should see another sunny day on Sunday, but the winds will not be as kind.
A strong breeze is expected for much of the day for the Capital City, which between that and the snowpack will keep us well below freezing for the afternoon.
Temperatures bottom out close to zero heading into the start of the work week, though we do look to warm up into the 50s by Tuesday. Mild temperatures continue through the work week with our next system arriving late Wednesday into Thursday. Mainly looking at rain, but with overnight lows below freezing we may see a flurry or two sneak in there.
