Fugitive found after search in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities arrested a wanted man Tuesday after an hours-long search in Lincoln.
The day’s events began about 3:45 a.m., when police said they found Clinton Mohlman in a vehicle near 20th and South streets.
The 43-year-old was passed out in the driver seat, according to the Lincoln Police Department, and officers saw a meth pipe in the center console.
Police told him to get out, but instead, LPD said Mohlman sped off.
His empty vehicle was later located on the lawn of a nearby home, but authorities said Mohlman was nowhere to be found.
About 11:30 a.m., the Metro Fugitive Task Force started searching the area.
Mohlman had several warrants for his arrest, including possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
He was suspected of being armed, according to the sheriff’s office.
A video uploaded to the NOW Local News App during the search shows plainclothes officers standing behind a vehicle with their guns drawn.
The 43-year-old was last seen near 20th and South streets, the sheriff’s office said.

About 7:30 p.m., the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said Mohlman was in custody.
He was found at a home near 24th and B streets, according to police.
