Fugitive Task Force arrests man after hour-long standoff

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Fugitive Task Force arrested a Lincoln man after an hour-long standoff at his residence.

Officers went to the 5000 block of Cleveland Avenue around 8:30 a.m. on Monday, to arrest 52-year-old Michael Lambert for outstanding warrants.

The Fugitive Task Force attempted to contact Lambert but he would not leave the residence. Officers believed that Lambert was armed. The officers had to evacuate the building.

After an hour-long standoff between the Officers and Lambert, he finally came out of the residence and was arrested.
