Gage County deputy helped herd cattle away from southeast Nebraska highway

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Gage County deputy helped herd cattle away from a highway north of the Nebraska-Kansas border on Friday.

In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office shared photos of the cattle round-up.  It’s unknown how the cattle escaped.

The sheriff’s office said the family who owns the cattle helped the deputy round them up.
