Game of the Week Preview: North Platte vs. Lincoln Northeast

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Northeast will attempt to stay undefeated in Friday night’s matchup with North Platte.

The Rockets are 3-0 this season, with wins over Omaha Northwest, Bryan and Benson.  Tonight’s game kicks off at 7 p.m. at Beechner Field.

Ahead of the game, Channel 8’s Andrew Ward spoke with Northeast coach Javonta Boyd about the success early on in the season.

Channel 8 also got the opportunity to hear from Lincoln Northeast’s band and the Rockets’ cheerleaders.
