Dozens of families got to “reel” them in tonight at Bowling Lake in Airpark.

It’s part of Game and Parks Family Fishing Night that they hold throughout the state. It allows families to get off the couch, put the phones or iPad’s down and enjoy the outdoors.

Larry Pape of Game and Parks says families can come out to learn how to fish. Even moms and dads can teach their kids how to fish.

This Saturday, they will host its “Carp-O-Rama” at Branched Oak Lake. For more information click on the link to Game and Parks: http://www.outdoornebraska.org/
