Gas will briefly drop to $2.38 a gallon at one Lincoln U-Stop on Monday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska chapter of Americans for Prosperity is partnering with U-Stop on Monday to offer gas at a discount.
Starting at 9 a.m., the price of unleaded gas will drop to $2.38 a gallon for the first 200 customers at the U-Stop near Pine Lake Road and Nebraska Highway 2.
The conservative group says that was the average price of gas on the day President Joe Biden took office. The average price in Lincoln on Saturday was $3.71, according to AAA.
Rep. Mike Flood and State Sens. Rob Clements, Suzanne Geist and Julie Slama will be there.
Americans for Prosperity has held similar events in Nebraska and other states “to highlight the true cost of Washington’s bad policies.”
