Get a Blizzard and do a good deed at Dairy Queen

It’s Miracle Treat Day at Lincoln Dairy Queens. 

For every Blizzard purchased, they’ll make a donation to the Children’s Hospital. 

At the location near 40th and South Street, they’ll donate a full dollar, Shelly Pleskac, the owner of that store said. 

This is the seventh year Pleskac’s location has participated. 

"This is very important because the Children’s Hospital does incredible work for kids. It’s very important to have a hospital like that in our area," Pleskac said. 

There will even be a former Children’s Hospital patient at that Dairy Queen from 6- 7:00 p.m. handing out flyers and stickers, and showing people how important the hospital was for his family. 

The location, and others in Lincoln, are open until 10:00  p.m.
