LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Seven people were injured Sunday night in a crash near Eagle, authorities say.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 34 and 238th Street, near the Eagle Raceway.

The driver of a Toyota SUV going south on 238th failed to stop at the stop sign, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Toyota was hit by a Chevy Tahoe, and the impact sent both vehicles into the ditch.

A girl in the Toyota was taken by helicopter to an Omaha hospital.

Two adults and a boy in the Toyota were taken with minor injuries to Bryan West Medical Center.

The driver and two minor passengers in the Tahoe also suffered minor injuries and were taken to Bryan West.

The crash is still under investigation.
