LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The champions were crowned in all class as the girls state basketball tournament wrapped up Saturday.
Class A: #1 Pius X 56 vs. #3 Fremont 52
Husker commit Alexis Markowski led the undefeated Thunderbolts to back-to-back state titles recording a double-double in every game this season.
Class B: No. 2 Elkhorn North 46, No. 3 Norris 33
In their first year as a program, Elkhorn North was led by freshman Britt Prince to beat Norris for the Class B state title.
Class D1: No. 2 Weeping Water 40, No. 1 Pleasanton 39
Weeping Water won their first ever state championship thanks to a last second bucket from UNO commit Grace Cave.

Class D2: No. 1 Humphrey St. Francis 57, No. 2 Falls City Sacred Heart 48
Future Husker Allison Weidner led her team to an undefeated season and first state title since 2007.
