GoFundMe page to build a border wall raises over $4.5M in three days

A GoFundMe page set up to help fund a border wall has raised millions of dollars in the three days since it was created.
As of Thursday morning, the page had raised over $4.5 million and had been shared almost 900,000 times.
The page was set up under the name of Brian Kolfage, who claims to be a retired United States Air Force member who was wounded in Iraq, losing three limbs.
Kolfage says he and a group called The Wall Fundraising Team are working with the the Trump administration to deliver the funds upon reaching their lofty $1B goal.
The group is working with an attorney to create a legal document binding the government to use the funds for the wall and not other purposes, according to the GoFundMe page.
The page creator promises to refund “every single penny” if the project fails.
