Golden Corral employee who reported being robbed at gunpoint cited for felony theft

Authorities cited three people following an investigation into a reported armed robbery at a Lincoln restaurant.
Lincoln police said 23-year-old Rima Hadgi, the manager of Golden Corral near N 27th and Old Dairy Road, reported she had been robbed at gunpoint during her shift on Oct. 16.
Hadgi told police a man entered the office where she was counting money and stole approximately $5,000. But investigators who reviewing video and digital evidence determined Hadgi was involved with the reported crime, police said.
Further investigation led to the identification of two more suspects, 19-year-old Amel Hadgi – Rima Hadgi’s sister – and 31-year-old Cedrick Cole. All three were cited for felony theft.
