Gov. Jim Pillen signs new executive order for carriers hauling wildfire supplies

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Gov. Jim Pillen on Wednesday signed a new executive order related to the wildfires in western Nebraska.

The order is designed to loosen regulations for commercial motor carriers hauling feed and other supplies to those affected by the wildfires.

According to Pillen, the new order suspends the prior executive order, which went into effect on March 28. The new order expires at the end of April 14.
