Grand Island man accused of throwing Molotov cocktail near ICE building
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man tried to damage a federal building in Grand Island with a Molotov cocktail, authorities say.
Eulisis Martin, 20, made his first court appearance Wednesday.
The Grand Island man is charged with attempting malicious damage to a federal property using explosive materials.

On June 9, authorities said Martin used a Molotov cocktail near a building that houses Homeland Security Investigations and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Investigators said they also linked him to a spray-painted “Kill ICE” sign on the building.
A few days later, on June 14, a Grand Island Police officer saw someone running along the building’s fences.
Police found government vehicles with slashed tires, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Nebraska.

Prosecutors said Martin’s vehicle was near the building on June 9 and June 14.
Authorities said they also traced his cellphone to the area on both of the days in question.
