LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Grand Island man was sentenced Tuesday in federal court to 10 years in prison.

He had been convicted of distribution of a methamphetamine mixture, distribution of 5 grams of meth and two counts of distribution of 50 grams or more of meth.

Adam E. Jarzynka, 49, was caught with the help of a confidential informant who arranged a controlled purchase of meth.

The informant bought meth from him four times between August and September of 2021, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

During these purchases, Jarzynka sold over 167 grams of meth.

After prison, he will spend five years on supervised release.
