Great American Trailer Park Musical on the TADA stage

It’s a Broadway musical romp through Florida’s most exclusive down-home trailer park – Armadillo Acres. Jam-packed with quirky characters, big hair, road kill, and raucous fun, this delightfully trashy, double-wide comedy will leave you doubled over with laughter.

When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil–loving, agoraphobic Jeannie who hasn’t left her trailer in 20 years and Norbert, her tollbooth collector husband at Armadillo Acres, a trailer park in Central Florida, the storms begin to brew. Rounding out the tenants of The Great American Trailer Park Musical is Betty, the leasing manager of Armadillo Acres; Pickles who suffers from hysterical pregnancy; Lin – short for Linoleum – who has a husband on death row; and Duke, a marker-huffing ex-boyfriend of Pippi’s. The show is full of comedy, great music and pink flamingos!

The talented cast includes Josh Schafer as Norbert Garstecki, Laura Lynn Horst as Jeannie Garstecki, Cherie Ronhovde as Pippi, Judy Anderson as Betty, Cris Rook as Linoleum, Jaci Manning as Pickles and Brent Welch as Duke. The musical comedy is directed by Robert D. Rook with musical direction and choreography by Cris Rook, accompaniment by William Maltas, assistant direction and production management by Amanda Fogerty and scenic painting and properties by Jenna Manley. The Great American Trailer Park Musical is sponsored by Smith Hayes Financial along with KLKN TV as the media sponsor.
