Group assaulted, robbed man in downtown Lincoln, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a group of males who assaulted a man in downtown Lincoln early Tuesday morning.
Just after 1:30 a.m., officers were waved down by a 36-year-old man near Centennial Mall and O Street.
Police said the man reported being assaulted by a group of males in their teens and early 20s.
The victim told officers that four people approached him near 13th and O streets after getting into an argument.
One of the males charged toward him, and the victim picked up a scooter to defend himself against the group, police said.
The victim said the group assaulted him and stole his wallet and vehicle key fob, according to police.
