Gun shot hits crowbar, shattering car window

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Sunday, around 1:00 a.m., Lincoln Police were called to the 300 block of S. 45th Street. A 61-year-old male had reported vandalism, after his 2008 Chevy Corvette’s rear window was broken while still in the garage.
The officer on scene found a bullet hole in the garage wall. It hit a crowbar hanging on the wall, which fell off, hitting the car window. Damage is estimated to be around 3,250 dollars.
A 33-year-old neighbor had reported having a gathering the night before, where he allowed another friend to hold his AR-10 rifle. When he walked away he heard the gun shoot and saw a bullet hole that went out of the house. The neighbor did not call police at the time.
The 33-year-old male who discharged the gun was cited for the Discharge of a Firearm in city limits.
