Gun stolen from unlocked pickup truck in south Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a handgun stolen Tuesday from a pickup truck in south Lincoln.
Around 2 p.m., officers were sent to a home near 47th and La Salle streets on a report of a vehicle break-in.
The victim left his pickup truck unlocked overnight and a green and brown 9 mm handgun was stolen, police said.
Two magazines full of ammo were also stolen. Investigators estimate the total value at $650.
