Guns stolen from two vehicles in southeast Lincoln, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Four guns were stolen over the weekend from vehicles in a southeast Lincoln neighborhood, police say.
The first theft was reported Saturday morning near 77th Street and Red Oak Road.
Police said the back passenger window of a pickup truck had been broken.
A piston and two rifles, worth around $600, were stolen from the vehicle, according to police.
Later that day, another firearm theft was reported in the same neighborhood, this time near 73rd Street and Edenton Road.
Police said the vehicle was left unlocked and a handgun, valued at $450, was taken.
