Gunshots fired in central Lincoln neighborhood, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating after shots were fired early Sunday morning in a central Lincoln neighborhood.
Around 3:45 a.m., officers were sent to the area of 25th and R streets on the report of gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found an undetermined number of spent shell casings in the street.
Police said officers did not find any injured victims or damage from gunfire.
Investigators think a person in a vehicle may have shot at another person on the sidewalk, who returned fire.
