Gunshots reported in south Lincoln, LPD investigating

Officers arrived at the area of the gunshots and could not find any victims or damage.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police are investigating a report of gunshots heard in a near south Lincoln neighborhood on Wednesday.

Police received a call to the 2300 block of Garfield after 6 p.m. on a report of gunshots heard.

Officers arrived at the area of the gunshots and could not find any victims or damage. Evidence at the scene led officers to believe the shots were fired from a vehicle.

Officers have canvassed the area, processed the scene for evidence and now are seeking video from the area. LPD says the investigation is currently ongoing.
