Hastings quarterback Jarrett Synek commits to Nebraska
Synek announced on Wednesday via Twitter that he would walk-on for the Huskers.

Lincoln, Neb. (KLKN) – Hastings High School quarterback and 2021 prospect Jarrett Synek announced on Wednesday that he would be walking-on to play for the Huskers.
Synek has had an impressive year for the Tigers. He helped his team earn a spot in the Class B semifinals this season. Synek completed over 50 percent of his passes this fall, and threw over 2,000 yards. He set a Class B record against Beatrice earlier this season with nine touchdown passes. In the past two years, he has thrown for more than 5,000 yards, 60 touchdowns and rushed for more than 800 yards.
Synek joins seven more walk-on commits in the 2021 class.
