Heat Index Dma Tomorrow

High temperatures will warm to the upper 80s and lower 90s across southeast Nebraska. Anticipate a bit more of a breeze out of the south-southwest, though it won’t be of much use.

Dma Today High

Storms throughout Wednesday are largely going to be steered AWAY from southeast Nebraska.

FLOOD WATCH has been issued from southwest Nebraska up through northeast Nebraska for an additional 1-4″ of rain expected Wednesday into Thursday morning, and isolated spots may see as much as 6″. Remember if you come to a flooded road – turn around, don’t drown!

Flood Watch 11am

Storms will fire along a boundary that has been in the area for many days now. That will work to direct storms around southeast Nebraska, moving northeast through central and northeast Nebraska through Wednesday night.

There is a risk for severe weather largely for northeast Nebraska as well. A Slight (Level 2 of 5) risk is in place for a primary threat of damaging winds with stronger storms. An isolated tornado threat is there too, although a rather low-end risk.

After being warmer Wednesday, storms will be possible again Thursday by the late morning/early afternoon hours then again through the afternoon with the heating of the day.
