Henry Doorly Zoo offers free admission for kids
It's the final gift in the Zoo's annual 12 Days of Giving event.

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is, once again, giving children under 12 the gift of free admission starting Saturday, Dec. 26 through the end of the year.
It’s the final gift in the Zoo’s annual 12 Days of Giving event. During the event, prizes were awarded to visitors in-person and on social media.
For this last gift, up to six eligible children can get free admission with every paid adult.
“The joy the 12 Days of Giving brought was contagious,” said Dennis Pate, president and CEO of Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. “The Zoo is now even more excited to offer this final gift to all the children in our community. We hope people will use this opportunity to enjoy our Zoo, create memories, and know that we sincerely appreciate their support through 2020.”
If you are worried about the cold weather, the Zoo has seven acres of indoor exhibits to explore including the Lied Jungle, Desert Dome, and the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium.
