Hot Monday Before Rain Wednesday
By 7pm- 11pm, there is a small chance for a light shower and T-STORM near the Missouri river. There will be enough energy in SE Nebraska for a storm to develop if it can break the CAP & dry air. Something to keep an eye on later this evening.
Much needed rain is expected WED-FRI! Wednesday morning, showers & T-STORMS develop across SE Nebraska with snow farther west. Rain, storms and snow will continue through Thursday into Friday.
This week brings much needed moisture and rain chances across Nebraska. Tuesday will be dry and chilly for much of the day. Wednesday morning, expect a wet morning comute with rain and thunderstorms starting near 3am. Thursday through Friday looks to be the best chance for rain and thunderstorms across eastern Nebraska. We could see some MARGINAL severe weather Tuesday night into Thursday and Friday. Still keeping an eye on Friday as models hint at a line of thunderstorms across eastern Nebraska. The severe threat could be greatest on Friday. Easter Sunday shaping up just fine! A warm up in store next Wednesday!
