HOT next few days- Storms likely Monday
Here is what we are watching into next week:
- Temperatures in the 90s through Monday. Feel like temperatures between 100- 110 degrees.
- Scattered storms LIKELY Sunday night though Monday morning and afternoon. Some storms could be on the strong to severe side due to gusty winds and small hail.
- Starting Tuesday, temperatures will stay near average (88 degrees). There will be a chance for some scattered showers and storms Tuesday afternoon.
A HEAT ADVISORY is still in place through tonight for eastern Nebraska.
First day of the weekend, will be very HOT. Temperatures between 93-100 degrees. Feel like temperatures peak afternoon between 104- 112 degrees. Stay hydrated and find shade frequently if outdoors. South winds will also be gusting to around 25 mph throughout the day.

Sunday, there is a MARGINAL risk for severe weather for most of Nebraska. Main concerns will be 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

A hot next few days in store for all of us. Sunday night through Monday, storms likely in parts of northeast and eastern Nebraska. A pleasant and average rest of the week starting Tuesday. We look to cool down and get some more rain and storm chances next Sunday.
