Hot start to October – Fall feel returns next week

A few light showers and an isolated thunderstorm are possible from the Tri-Cities north Wednesday morning. By the afternoon, skies turn mostly sunny with warmer-than-average temperatures. Temperatures will flirt with 90° through Saturday, with persistent south winds around 10–15 mph. Late Saturday into Sunday, our next system is expected to bring some cooler temperatures and rain chances into early October.

A HOT and breezy end to the week. We look to cool off into the 70s next week with rain chances on and off. The best chance for rain looks to be Sunday night and Wednesday night into Thursday next week. Next week will definitely feel a lot cooler than this week with overnight lows in the lower 50s due to clear skies.
