House damaged by shotgun, LPD investigating
Officers determined someone had shot towards the home, causing an estimated $1,500 worth of damage.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A west Lincoln home suffered $1,500 worth of damages after someone shot the house with a shotgun on Saturday. LPD says an investigation is currently ongoing.
The homeowner in the 200 block of NW 17th Street noticed shattered glass on the floor. After opening the blinds, the homeowner noticed the window had been broken, another window had chips in it.
The homeowner then went outside to find small BB-sized holes in the window screen and siding of the house.
Officers determined someone had shot towards the home with a shotgun, causing damage to the siding and windows.
According to LPD, none of the BBs penetrated the inside of the house and there were no injuries.
