Humid, severe storms possible Wednesday evening

After showers and thunderstorms worked through the capital city on Wednesday morning, we are now turning our focus to the next chance for severe weather. The Storm Prediction Center has placed most of southeastern Nebraska under a slight (level 2 out of 5) risk for severe weather. Any storm activity we see today will be dependent on how quickly we can lose the morning cloud cover.
