Hunter finds body of Nebraska woman in Kansas ditch, authorities say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An investigation is underway after the body of a Nebraska woman was found in a ditch in Kansas.
Around 4 p.m. on Thursday, a hunter found the body on 246th Road, half a mile west of H Road, in northwestern Jackson County.
Jackson County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies, along with Jackson County EMS, responded to the scene and identified the woman.
The woman’s name is being withheld pending family notification.
According to the sheriff’s office, foul play is not suspected at this time.
