Husker baseball cancels weekend series against LBSU

The decision was made due to forecasted inclement weather and field conditions, according to a press release.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Husker baseball’s upcoming weekend series against Long Beach State has been canceled due to forecasted inclement weather.

The decision was made due to the potential of snow and field conditions, according to a press release.

In place of the series, the Huskers will now play a two-game home-and-home series with Omaha on March 13-14.  Sunday’s game will be at 3 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field in Omaha and Monday’s game will be at 1 p.m. at Haymarket Park.

Fans will receive refunds for any tickets purchased for the Long Beach State series.
