LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Baseball team bolstered its 2025 recruiting class on Thursday with a commitment from infielder/RHP Cooper Grace.

The Wakarusa, Kansas, native had several Division I offers, but announced his commitment to Nebraska in a social media post.

“I am extremely blessed to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Nebraska,” Grace said. “I would like to thank my parents, family, coaches, teammates, and anyone who helped support me in and through this process. I am blessed to be given an opportunity to continue to play the game that I love at the next level, and I am thankful for the coaching staff at Nebraska for giving me that opportunity. GBR!!!”

Last season, the two-way player hit .426 from the plate with 36 RBIs and 3 home runs. He also pitched 64.2 innings with an impressive 124 strikeouts.

Grace led Hayden Catholic High School to a 3A state championship in May.
