Husker center Cam Jurgens enters NFL Draft

Pickrell native Cam Jurgens will not return to Nebraska football next season and has declared for the 2022 NFL Draft.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska football center and Pickrell native Cam Jurgens has declared for the 2022 NFL Draft. He will not return to play for the Huskers next season.

Jurgens started every game this past season earning third-team All-Big Ten accolades from the conference coaches and honorable mention recognition from the media. Jurgens is also a graduate of Beatrice High School where he was a three-sport athlete. He was a four-time state champion in Class B discus and three-time champion in the shotput.
