Husker commits set to shine in Navy All-American Bowl

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two Husker commits are set to play in Saturday’s Navy All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Nebraska fans will get their first look at 4-star WR Cortez Mills and 4-star LB Christian Jones.

Mills is the second-ranked recruit in Nebraska’s 2025 class, flipping his commitment to the Huskers over Oklahoma on signing day in December.

Jones is an Omaha native and played his high school ball at Westside. According to On3’s recruiting database, Jones is the No. 1-ranked recruit in the state of Nebraska.

The Navy All-American Bowl, formerly known as the Army All-American Bowl, is an annual matchup between the top 100 recruits in the country.

According to the game’s website, the event has featured 594 future NFL draft picks, 247 Pro Bowl selections and 18 Heisman Trophy finalists.

The game will be live on NBC at 12 p.m.
