Husker fans weigh in on Super Bowl LIII

Husker fans say their allegiances were split seeing former Huskers playing for both the Patriots and the Rams tonight.

2019 marks the 25th consecutive year that a former Husker was on the active roster of a Super Bowl team.

This year, Rex Burkhead (Patriots running back), Ndomnakong Suh (Rams defensive lineman), Greg Zuerlein (Rams kicker) were all focal points for their teams.

Former Big Red running back Rex Burkhead had a huge 26 yard run to close out the game.
