Husker head coach Matt Rhule praises Colorado’s offense, Deion Sanders

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska travels to Boulder, Colorado, to take on Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes at Folsom Stadium on Saturday.

The Huskers are coming off a 13-10 loss to Minnesota, in which Nebraska quarterback Jeff Sims threw three interceptions.

At a press conference Monday, head coach Matt Rhule said Nebraska will have to clean up the “catastrophic errors,” including turnovers and false starts.

The Huskers will also have to prepare for an elite and unique Colorado offense, which includes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.

Hunter, a cornerback and wide receiver, played over 100 snaps in Saturday’s win against TCU, a team that played in the national championship last season.

Shedeur led the offensive output with 510 passing yards, a school record, and four touchdowns.

Rhule also praised Deion’s coaching skills during the press conference.

“He’s won in everything he’s done in football,” Rhule said. “He’s won as a player, he’s won as a coach.”
