Husker men’s basketball cracks AP top 25 for first time since 2018

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska men’s basketball has earned a spot in the AP top 25 poll for the first time since 2018.
In the new poll released Monday, the Huskers are ranked at No. 23, coming off a win over Creighton at home.

Nebraska is undefeated and has won 13 straight games dating back to last season. It’s the program’s best start since the 1977-78 season.
Fred Hoiberg and company can match Nebraska’s best start in school history with a win over Wisconsin on Wednesday.
The Nebraska women’s basketball team is also undefeated and ranked at No. 24 in the AP Poll.
Nebraska joins Iowa State and Vanderbilt as the only three programs nationally with both programs currently undefeated.
