LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Fred Hoiberg and company keep jumping up in the AP poll rankings as the Huskers’ undefeated season rolls on.

In the updated poll on Monday, the Nebraska men’s basketball team moved up to the No. 13 spot following a win over North Dakota over the weekend.

Nebraska has one more nonconference game left on its schedule against New Hampshire at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Dec. 30.

The Huskers then take on No. 9 Michigan State at home on Jan. 2.

Nebraska’s 12-0 start to the 2025 season is the best in program history.  The Huskers have now won 16 straight dating back to last year.

In Sunday’s win, Berke Buyuktuncel had a triple-double.  He’s the fourth Husker to have a triple-double and the second this season.

Both Nebraska basketball teams are undefeated.  The Huskers join Iowa State and Vanderbilt as the only schools with unbeaten men’s and women’s teams.
