Husker QB Adrian Martinez signs endorsement deal with Degree

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez is capitalizing on the recent changes allow college athletes to monetize their name, image and likeness.

Martinez was one of 14 collegiate athletes to sign an endorsement deal with Degree Deodorant.

It’s the brand’s first-ever campaign with collegiate athletes.

The company says it will work with the athletes on programs such as funding local community projects at rec centers and youth organizations.
