Husker Quarterbacks take the stand after day three of camp

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska football coaches and players took the stand Friday to speak to the media following the third day of fall camp.

Quarterbacks, Heinrich Haarberg, Daniel Kaelin, and 5-star freshman Dylan Raiola talked about fall camp, goals for the season, and more ahead of the 2024 campaign.

“There’s a lot of talent, a lot of different ways that we all push each other,” Kaelin said. “I think overall all of us are really talented and we all want to be great.”

For Raiola, this fall camp is all about making the team better and not worrying about who will be the week one starter, or if he looks like Patrick Mahomes.

“The time will come when it’s time to name a starting quarterback,” Raiola said. “As of right now, we are just worried about our team and what we can do to get better.”

The Huskers will host the Big Red Preview Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium, showcasing the squad ahead of week one.

Fans will be able to fill the stands and watch the team go through a practice.

Nebraska will start its season in Memorial Stadium against UTEP at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 31st.
