Husker volleyball sweeps Maryland as hot streak continues

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — No. 1 Nebraska volleyball swept Maryland on Friday as it continued its dominant season.

The Huskers won 25-19, 25-17 25-8 at the Bob Devaney Center.

NU outhit Maryland .349% to .023% and is now 20-0.

Harper Murray led the way, with 16 kills and an ace. Merritt Beason tacked on 10 kills and two aces.

Bergen Reilly recorded 10 digs. Beason, Laney Choboy and Lexi Rodriguez each had nine.

Andi Jackson and Bekka Allick led in blocks, with four apiece.

The Huskers host Rutgers on Saturday. The match starts at 7:30 p.m. and will air on the Big Ten Network.
