Huskers fall to #19 Michigan 80-69 in Christmas Day game
Despite Teddy Allen's 25-point performance, Nebraska struggled in the second half resulting in the conference loss.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Huskers started off hot in their Christmas Day game against #19 Michigan leading the game majority of the first half. Teddy Allen scored 21 of his 25 points in the first 20 minutes of the game.
But following halftime, Michigan’s shooting was able to take over the second half for the Wolverines leading by as many as 13. The Huskers tried to rally behind Trey McGowens who scored all 15 of his points in the second half but still came up short in the team’s second-straight conference game.
Nebraska’s next game is this Wednesday at #23 Ohio State.
