There are 18 teams in the Big Ten this year, and all made the trip to Chicago.
Cook called it “mind-blowing.”
“We’re just very grateful that we get to be here,” he said.
Nebraska is coming off of a 33-2 national championship runner-up performance last season.
“What’s really on my mind right now is, ‘How are we going to better our skills from last year?'” Cook said. “Really paying attention to the little things, that is going to be a major focus for me.”
Seniors Kennedi Orr and Lindsay Krause joined Cook on the stage.
“I think every day our team just works on what we know we can do for volleyball and Nebraska volleyball as a whole,” Orr said.
Krause is ready to be back on the court after her season-ending injury last year.
“Looking forward to this season, just going into every day being so grateful to be where I am and being so appreciative of every single day,” she said.
The Huskers’ first game of the season will be on Aug. 27 versus Kentucky in Louisville.
