2022 Ocean State Air Show cancelled

QUONSET, R.I, (WLNE)- The Ocean State Air Show, scheduled for June 25 to 26, has been cancelled.

A number of factors played into the decision to cancel the highly anticipated event including reconstruction projects at the airport, reduction in parking, and responsibilities to the National Guard such as deployment and assistance with addressing the pandemic.

Officials are working to explore the possibility of hosting the event in 2023.
