Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter enters hospice care

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Carter Center announced that former First Lady Rosalynn Carter is now in hospice care.
The center said on social media, on behalf of Carter’s grandson Jason Carter, that the former First Lady entered hospice care at her home and that she is spending time with her husband, former President Jimmy Carter.
“The Carter family continues to ask for privacy and remains grateful for the outpouring of love and support,” the announcement concluded.
